Tall el-Hammam December
2009-January 2010
Assistant photographer
on the archeological dig at Tall el-Hammam in Jordan.
This is a joint scientific project between Trinity Southwest
UniversityÕs College of Archaeology and Biblical History and the Department of
Antiquities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Worked closely with locals and others on the dig as well as
participated in the dig itself.
Temple Mount Salvage Operation December
2009
The Temple Mount
Antiquities Salvage Operation is an archaeological project started in 2005
dedicated to recovering archaeological artifacts from 300 truckloads of topsoil
removed from the Temple Mount by the Waqf during the
construction of the underground el-Marwani Mosque
from 1996-1999. Photographed
artifacts found as well as the operations and daily tasks completed by workers
and volunteers. Also participated
in wet and dry sifting.
